CNL

The National Book Centre (Centre National du Livre – CNL) is a public institution of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, whose mission is to support the entire book chain: authors, translators, booksellers, librarians, coordinators of literary events. To this end, it offers various support schemes and carries out its mission on a national and international scale. The CNL thus contributes to the promotion of French books abroad.

Since the early 2000s, Ikirezi cooperates with the CNL and as such has taken advantage of several ways and means of CNL’s assistance such as professional training, support for the development of the French language section in Ikirezi, support to literary events among others. 

Librairie Ikirezi is officially designated by the CNL as a French-language reference bookstore, a brand renewed every three year.
